Immersive Luxury Events On The French Riviera

Catering
Experiences that capture all senses
Event catering with local flair and flavours

Luxury is no longer just about the look or vibe of a venue. More and more, hosts and brands want moments that feel real – that stir the senses, spark joy, and linger long after the last guest has left.

This shift is clear. In fact, Eventbrite says that 78% of millennials say they’d rather spend on experiences than on material items. The ripple effect? Events – whether for a wedding or a launch at MIPTV – are now designed to pull guests into the story, not just impress them from a distance.

From scent and sound to innovative food pairings and live entertainment, today’s best events do more than just “wow”.   Let’s say you’re hosting at MIPCOM. You could show off your latest production series with a branded booth. Or, you could curate an event that brings your TV series to life:

  • An interactive exhibit that guests walk through

  • Live acts that mirror the TV series’ concept

  • A culinary menu that is themed with your next big TV series

This kind of event gives guests a way to not just to watch, but to take part. It turns your message into a mood.

How We Build Meaningful, Real Event Experiences

At a luxury event, the stakes are high and the standards are uncompromising. Even the slightest misstep can have significant consequences, potentially impacting a brand’s reputation.

Made for you

  • Table settings focused around your theme

  • One-on-one attention from professional staff for your guests

  • Gifts your guests will use, not just keep hidden in a tote bag

Gastronomy That Tells a Story

Food can set a theme, start a chat, or guide a guest through the night. The success of event catering can hinge on seemingly minor details that could have major ramifications for how the event is perceived – such as the professionalism and seamlessness of the front of house and bar service staff.  Curating an exceptional menu is an art unto itself. From customised hors d’oeuvres to sit-down dinners, every course should have harmony with the event’s theme, venue logistics and guests.

Beverages should play an important part – whether you opt to serve classic cocktails, Champagne, rare wines or non-alcoholic drinks everything should pull together to create moments of delight that reinforce the event’s ambiance.

Think:

  • Chef-led stations with a show twist

  • A menu built on local food and wine pairings

  • Signature drinks that echo the place or your brand

At one of our recent superyacht events, fans watched a key sporting event from a prime location, with world-class wines and food. Even the décor and merchandise had a role to play and spoke to the theme.

Layers of Texture, Light, and Sound

Immersive events work best when every part of the space helps tell the tale.  Events can unfold with storytelling that incorporates food, sound, sight, scent, touch, and surprise theatrical moments.

In Saint-Tropez, we staged a wedding where scent played the lead. Each guest left with a miniature scented candle and a vial of the bespoke fragrance blend used across the space. Lighting, monogrammed linens, custom florals and bespoke music pulled the whole weekend together.

Another example is an event we managed in Cannes for a luxury car brand during a major sporting event, where the range of vehicles was unveiled at a spectacular private villa with a curated guest list.

Live Entertainment That Moves With the Room

Many events incorporate roving entertainers and interactive theatre elements to create a more intimate and engaging experience.  This can include anything from surprise musical acts, immersive dinner shows, or pop-up performances.

For instance, at a themed gala, performers might interact with guests, guiding them through a storyline that unfolds throughout the evening. This approach turns the event into a living narrative, where every guest plays a role. The result is a more dynamic and memorable experience that resonates with attendees long after the event has ended.

Another example is a Provençal vineyard event to mark a special wedding anniversary, complete with a wine-pairing session and live music.  At the vineyard dinner, the couple’s story played out in a video montage across a screen, as a string quartet played the song from their first date. Simple, warm, and filled with personal touches.

Some of our most praised events featured:

  • Story-led artists who engage, not just perform

  • Pop-up shows that change room to room

  • Music acts that weave in key moments

A Mark That Lasts

The final touch can often be the one that guests speak of most. A gift that reflects the event. A short film. A thank-you note that feels like it was meant just for them.

When done well, these small gestures create a sense of care that few forget.

At Adams & Adams, we’ve created and managed these kinds of events since 2003. We know who to call – whether DJs, florists or furniture rental providers – the very specialists and experts who work alongside us to build the event you want.

As the luxury event industry continues to evolve the role of the event manager is not just to be able to organise and coordinate different elements, but to craft something that is emotionally engaging and inspires. The future of luxury events lies in the ability to create experiences that are not only visually stunning but also deeply memorable, leaving guests with a touch of your brand or personality that resonates long after the event is finished.  In short: we help shape a space where every guest feels seen, where every plate makes sense, and where the story is yours.
