Cannes Film Festival & Monaco Grand Prix: Catering & Event Planning

Cannes Festival
Yatch Catering

Cannes Film Festival and Monaco Grand Prix are two of the world’s most high-profile events for brand events, private dinners, and VIP client parties. They draw A-list celebrities, CEOs, and royalty. That means your hospitality and catering must match the moment.

This year, we worked with clients at L’Espace Croisette during Cannes Film Festival and a repeat client onboard a superyacht at Monaco GP so we have plenty of experience.

We’ve planned and run events on rooftops, in villas, aboard yachts, and trackside. Here are our tips to make your event planning journey shine in Cannes or Monaco.

1. Book Early. Then Confirm Again.

Cannes and the Grand Prix get booked up fast. Venues, equipment, and staff are booked months ahead. Once you know your plans, move fast and get in touch with us as soon as possible to secure availability. We ensure we recheck vital elements – entertainment, menus, transport, and delivery access. Cannes and Monaco shift into high gear during both of these events. Roads close. Venue rules change. Our team knows the drill and how to work within the local limitations.

2. Know The Vibe Of Each Event

Each event has its own pace. During Cannes Film Festival, the action moves from red carpets to press calls to night-time galas and cocktail parties. You’ll need a team who can shift with the day and keep guests fed, cool, and at ease.  Entertainment is a big drawcard, and we’re happy to help advise on everything from live bands to string quartets, magicians or DJ’s that will get your dance floor pumping!

At the Grand Prix, race times set the tone. Days are busy, the Principality is packed, and you need to plan logistics ahead. If you’re hosting on a yacht or terrace, we plan to beat the rush, and serve with flair – despite road closures and strict delivery times.

3. Pick A Venue That Fits Your Brand

In Cannes, we’ve worked in hilltop villas, beach restaurants, luxury hotels and seaview penthouses. Each gives a different ambience. The key is to pick one that suits your guests and the vibe you want. If you’re close to the Palais, you’re in the thick of it. Want more peace? Super Cannes or Californie offer a calmer setting and views, but you need to consider transport and distance from the Croisette.

For Monaco Grand Prix events, think ahead. Will your guests be walking? Coming by tender? Are you near a key circuit bend or the Paddock? These points can shape the guest experience and how food and drink are served.

4. Pre-book Adams & Adams In Advance

With two decades of local ties, we can call on florists, chefs, sound techs, and suppliers we know and trust.  We’ve dealt with rain at rooftop penthouses, scorching days with ice cream carts, and late calls to fix power blackouts for DJs.

It’s not just about the food (though that must be exceptional!). It’s about the staff working as one, and the plan flowing with the event.

5. Set the Mood With Catering

At both Cannes and Monaco, guests expect to eat well. Great taste doesn’t mean fuss. An hors d’oeuvres selection with bold flavours and clean finishes can often make more of an impact than a multi-course plated meal that slows the pace. Think cold beverages in the sun, small plates that satisfy a busy crowd, or a full bar with staff who read the room.

We craft each menu with the budget and mood in mind. For Cannes, we love light bites and no-fuss platters. For Monaco, you might want bold food to match a selection of drinks. Either way, the key is choice, efficient service, and style.

6. Less Fuss, More Class

At the heart of it, these events are a chance to bring your people close. To mark a film or production launch. To toast a win at the iconic Grand Prix. To host with care. That means less chaos, more thought. When guests walk in, they should feel at ease. That’s what we do best.
